Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tetra Pack FC's Cristobal Inocente started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nereo Gaur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 6 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nereo Gaur. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Nereo Gaur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tetra Pack FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nereo Gaur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A throw-in in the 12th minute of the game was made by Primitivo Andino with Felix Montenegro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Nereo Gaur might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nereo Gaur ran back to his position shaking his head. Tetra Pack FC's Silvano Arnau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of play. Silvano Arnau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvano Arnau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. After 26 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. Nereo Gaur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. 30 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nereo Gaur. After 32 minutes of play, Tetra Pack FC's Nereo Gaur made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jacobo Roldanillo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Porfirio in the 40th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tetra Pack FC's Silvano Arnau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Porfirio in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tetra Pack FC's goalkeeper Silvano Arnau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, Jacobo Roldanillo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tetra Pack FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Tetra Pack FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Roldanillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Silvano Arnau threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Daniel Zorita this time. 70 minutes into the match, Nereo Gaur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nereo Gaur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Tetra Pack FC made a substitution. Santo Lluterio replaced Cristobal Inocente. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Gaur in the 76th minute of the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Gaur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute of the match Tetra Pack FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rolando Tello ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hernan Porfirio was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 86 minutes into the match, Nereo Gaur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nereo Gaur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Tetra Pack FC's Nereo Gaur got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Tetra Pack FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
