The Tetra Pack FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fulgencio Eskuin should have stopped the shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Fulgencio Eskuin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 48th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Braulio Mateus made a kick off. Primitivo Andino's late challenge caught a Tetra Pack FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Primitivo Andino helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Fulgencio Eskuin in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. After 63 played minutes Luis Andino rounded Tetra Pack FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. In the 66th minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fulgencio Eskuin. The goal made the score 0-7. Fulgencio Eskuin was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-8. 78 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fulgencio Eskuin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Eskuin having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fulgencio Eskuin. Fulgencio Eskuin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10.
