But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Deunoro couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jairo Deunoro got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Jairo Deunoro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 2-0. Jairo Deunoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jairo Deunoro to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jairo Deunoro's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 71st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Deunoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Deunoro in the 75th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Jairo Deunoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Jairo Deunoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 80 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emil Rasialdo who took care of the corner kick. After having played for 90 minutes, Jairo Deunoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caballeritos del Baile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Deunoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caballeritos del Baile's Jairo Deunoro got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Joshua Secada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Deunoro in the 95th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
