The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Tenyo Fakirov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC AnTePiA™'s Alfred Walmarsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celil Candemir in the 12th minute of the match. FC AnTePiA™'s Celil Candemir managed to work through Peru's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Celil Candemir dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Alfred Walmarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 25th minute of play. Lembit Pentus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lembit Pentus in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Moises Gayoso hit a great ball. After 30 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Alvarado. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 43rd minute of play forced FC AnTePiA™'s goalkeeper Alfred Walmarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Lembit Pentus made the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Peru's Alfred Walmarsson threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eliseo Mina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 54 minutes into the match, Peru's Luz Tejedor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfred Walmarsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, FC AnTePiA™'s Alfred Walmarsson got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC AnTePiA™'s Alfred Walmarsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save FC AnTePiA™ from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC AnTePiA™'s goalkeeper Alfred Walmarsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alfred Walmarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 69th minute of play. FC AnTePiA™'s Ersan Ünseven was substituted for Tenyo Fakirov. Eliseo Mina made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that FC AnTePiA™'s Alfred Walmarsson managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 75th match minute, FC AnTePiA™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özcan Balcik to maneuver through the defense. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. A throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game was made by Emmanuel Reyes with Milagros Fraga as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. FC AnTePiA™'s Alfred Walmarsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save FC AnTePiA™ from getting a goal against them. Alfred Walmarsson was a little too slow when Antonio Tenorio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-1. The FC AnTePiA™ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
