Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Korneliusz Brak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristian Sancho's late challenge caught a Quitilipi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Sancho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Arnulfo Henrico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quitilipi's goalkeeper Korneliusz Brak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Korneliusz Brak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Korneliusz Brak was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Korneliusz Brak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Korneliusz Brak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Korneliusz Brak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Korneliusz Brak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Guillermo Ursino sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Korneliusz Brak. Quitilipi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 44 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the game, Elliott Tinglöf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quitilipi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Elliott Tinglöf kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Korneliusz Brak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Korneliusz Brak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Korneliusz Brak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Quitilipi made a substitution. Nunez Hulberto replaced Evaristo Errapel. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Korneliusz Brak having to interfere. Korneliusz Brak was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 69 minute of play. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Korneliusz Brak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Korneliusz Brak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Korneliusz Brak having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Korneliusz Brak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Quitilipi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Marcu Scripcaru kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Korneliusz Brak came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Quitilipi throughout the match.
