Erik Pihlblad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Eloy Rafe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Miralles in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Pihlblad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvarez Håland in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Pihlblad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kilydd Gonzalez to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's Yakov Abramov got a free kick in the 27th minute. Erik Pihlblad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvarez Håland in the 36th minute of the match. Dylan Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. A long shot from Alfredo Mon in the 41st minute of play was well struck, but Marcos Cotilla made a really good save at the right post. Andres Guerau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvarez Håland in the 45th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvarez Håland made a kick off. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 79 minutes into the match, Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Miralles came free, but Erik Pihlblad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
