The Glyka Nera FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vassilis Parianos should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Glyka Nera FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. If Nikos Lianos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute Telis Bezas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vassilis Parianos having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Vassilis Parianos in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vassilis Parianos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
