Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Feliciano Quintyn took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when ATLETICO TOSODELMA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Araoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Tome saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicasio Tome prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 19th minute of the match ATLETICO TOSODELMA got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucio Libertad ran over to the corner to take the kick. ATLETICO TOSODELMA's Nicasio Tome played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 21st minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicasio Tome prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicasio Tome took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Tome having to interfere. Lucio Libertad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venezuela's Alex Chicote managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aquilino Montrell in the 42 minute of the game. Feliciano Quintyn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

51 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ATLETICO TOSODELMA the free kick. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Quintyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Nicasio Tome when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicasio Tome read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 61st minute of play forced ATLETICO TOSODELMA's goalkeeper Nicasio Tome to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When ATLETICO TOSODELMA's Feliciano Quintyn in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nicasio Tome made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 76th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ATLETICO TOSODELMA's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicasio Tome came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Lucio Libertad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Venezuela players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented ATLETICO TOSODELMA from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
