Carlton Convine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 2nd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Warren came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute of the match Glasston got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tom Rheistein ran over to the corner to take the kick. Carlton Convine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael van der Vaart in the 8th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Warren came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eddy Watts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Carlton Convine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Glasston's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Carlton Convine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael van der Vaart. In the 27th minute, Glasston's Mete Golob dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Dante Lacasa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eddy Watts showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 33 minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Glasston:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mexico:s goal. Glasston:s Carlton Convine showed great skill when he stopped Joel Gaona:s penalty. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Glasston's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. In the 43rd minute Facundo Cadaval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlton Convine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 43rd minute of play forced Glasston's goalkeeper Carlton Convine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glasston's Rafael van der Vaart got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Carlton Convine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Glasston's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Carlton Convine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Carlton Convine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 75th minute of play. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Mexico's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddy Watts, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Glasston's Aron Warren got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 96 minutes, Eddy Watts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glasston's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eddy Watts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Glasston fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mexico had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
