Arif Ozan Sureha came free with the goalkeeper in the 4th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. In the 11th minute, Ecuador's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cleto Matxin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cássio de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Jukatriz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natanael Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arif Ozan Sureha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After 22 minutes of play, Jukatriz's Arif Ozan Sureha made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Jukatriz getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Cássio de Alcântara hit a great ball. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jukatriz's goalkeeper Oséas Albuquerque, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arif Ozan Sureha. 42 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Matxin came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jukatriz's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Augusto Alcântara in the 43rd minute. The corner ended in Shen Quan Wei almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cássio de Alcântara got free with Julio Vera in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Oséas Albuquerque skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Oséas Albuquerque came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio de Alcântara in the 61st minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Ozan Sureha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Jukatriz's Cleto Matxin got a free kick in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oséas Albuquerque narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Jukatriz's Arif Ozan Sureha got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 71 played minutes Jukatriz got a freekick which was hit by Zé Pedro Soeiro. 74 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Ozan Sureha came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the game, Cleto Matxin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Jukatriz's Oséas Albuquerque. Oséas Albuquerque was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
