In the 22nd minute Preston Keato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Justino Stanislao having to make a save. In the 24th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Stanislao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Suipacha FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Nunez Jerrold hit a great ball. Justino Stanislao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Stanislao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Suipacha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Justino Stanislao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justino Stanislao didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axel Montenegro went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Colombia's attentive Kevin Mastache managed to snatch the ball when Nunez Jerrold made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. 54 minutes into the game, Nunez Jerrold threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Antonio Indiano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Justino Stanislao made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Preston Keato in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of Colombia booed when Suipacha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nunez Jerrold didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute of the match, Abram Sarmiento tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Justino Stanislao saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tor Lönn scored 2-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee felt a red card was in order, 69 minutes into the game, when Pablo Zabaleta put in a rough tackle. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. A collision led to Suipacha FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Pablo Zabaleta hit a great ball. Colombia's Kevin Mastache took a good shot, in the 72nd minute, which hit the crossbar above Justino Stanislao's head, and flew over the goal. Suipacha FC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Colombia. Ignacio Mastache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Justino Stanislao made a huge save. Justino Stanislao made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute, Kevin Mastache reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Justino Stanislao. The goal made the score 2-3. Suipacha FC's Ferdi Sekste got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Carballar to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Dibala came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Suipacha FC's Paulo Dibala nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. After 93 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Mastache. Paulo Dibala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Lucas Langoni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th of the match, Abram Secada tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Justino Stanislao got in the way and made a wonderful save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Suipacha FC had won after a very even match.
