Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Eduardo dos Santos having to interfere. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fred Ferreira in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ruy Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Fred Ferreira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 22 minutes into the game, Fred Ferreira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Fred Ferreira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With an all-out effort, Corumbaense F.C.'s Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from José Pedro França, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 32 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Luís Eduardo dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 39th minute, José Pedro França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After 51 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Luís Eduardo dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Dudu Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Pedro França in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Ruy Mota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Ruy Mota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th match minute, Corumbaense F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fabiano Neto to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Dudu Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Eduardo dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Corumbaense F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Illescas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luís Eduardo dos Santos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 83 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Ferreira came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 86th minute of play forced Corumbaense F.C.'s goalkeeper Luís Eduardo dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Pedro França in the 94th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corumbaense F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
