Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Algot Sundin started the match with the kick off. Los Del Kllejon FC's Venancio Geleberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 10th minute of play forced Los Del Kllejon FC's goalkeeper Venancio Geleberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 11th minute. Algot Sundin struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Del Kllejon FC. 14 minutes into the match, Los Del Kllejon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Venancio Geleberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Venancio Geleberto. In the 16th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 17th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Remigio Bizi. Faustino Luar took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Algot Sundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Siegfried Knubel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Gumaro in the 38th minute of play. After 39 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Siegfried Knubel who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Los Del Kllejon FC's corner Aquilino Estavan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. In the 43rd minute, Ismael Gumaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Venancio Geleberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Del Kllejon FC made a substitution. Romeo Eleder replaced Faustino Luar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Venancio Geleberto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Los Del Kllejon FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Venancio Geleberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Venancio Geleberto came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 62nd minute. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Venancio Geleberto made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Venancio Geleberto. That made the score 1-3 after 66 minutes of play. Venancio Geleberto didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ismael Gumaro went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. 79 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Gumaro came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Venancio Geleberto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Venancio Geleberto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Andino in the 83rd minute. After 87 minutes, Daniel Zorita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Los Del Kllejon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Gumaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 95 minutes into the match, Los Del Kllejon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Venancio Geleberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
