Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Iulian Boc took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armindo Amado got free with Dante Lacasa in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iulian Boc. Piara Tittarelli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Iulian Boc kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armindo Amado in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. Joel Gaona kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Mexico were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Piara Tittarelli could save by the left post. Piara Tittarelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 64th minute of the match. Reconquistense FC's Arnulfo Gamus was substituted for Tomás Raphael. In the 67th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Reconquistense FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Luca Zorita drilling the ball in to score 1-4 behind Reconquistense FC's goalkeeper. Reconquistense FC's Jan Ahlqvist was substituted for Armindo Amado. Pascual Elivareo kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. A long shot from Joel Gaona in the 72nd minute of play was well struck, but Piara Tittarelli made a really good save at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 78th minute of play forced Reconquistense FC's goalkeeper Piara Tittarelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Piara Tittarelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Reconquistense FC's Piara Tittarelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 88th minute of play. After 96 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Piara Tittarelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mexico eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
