Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Bertoni came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardino Mark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejandro Berto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After 19 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. When Liu Chang Hong came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the LA IMPRENTA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liu Chang Hong couldn't finish the play. LA IMPRENTA's Bernardino Mark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Bertoni. 37 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardino Mark. LA IMPRENTA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. LA IMPRENTA made a substitution. Elpidio Espiridion replaced Ricardo Bertoni. After 42 played minutes LA IMPRENTA got a freekick which was hit by Arild Berdal. Bruno Sepúlveda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the match, Elpidio Espiridion notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elpidio Espiridion to strike the kick off in the second half. Elpidio Espiridion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Elpidio Espiridion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LA IMPRENTA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Felix Montenegro scored to the left of an out of position Bernardino Mark, making the score, 1-3. 66 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardino Mark. LA IMPRENTA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Bernardino Mark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Bruno Sepúlveda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardino Mark made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 74th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Espiridion in the 77th minute of play. Bernardino Mark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Sepúlveda in the 82nd minute of play. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardino Mark having to make a save. 93 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Bernardino Mark was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than LA IMPRENTA throughout the match.
