Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dorking United FC's Zack Bye started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. Dylan Pearce was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Dorking United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Isaac Prutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zack Bye fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isaac Prutton having to make a save. Dorking United FC's Isaac Prutton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play. When Dorking United FC's Benji Corby in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Dorking United FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Karl Fletcher hit a great ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Karl Fletcher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zack Bye, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Dorking United FC were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dylan Pearce took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Dylan Pearce got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 35thth minute of the game Zack Bye who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zack Bye, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 44th match minute, Dorking United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Ainge to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 45th minute of play forced Dorking United FC's goalkeeper Isaac Prutton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Dylan Pearce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaac Prutton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 55th minute of play forced Dorking United FC's goalkeeper Isaac Prutton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Dorking United FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Prutton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zack Bye's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Zack Bye managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dorking United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zack Bye was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Zack Bye came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Prutton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Isaac Prutton in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 85thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Isaac Prutton would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Dorking United FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Dylan Pearce charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dylan Pearce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Dorking United FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Dylan Pearce hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Isaac Prutton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
