Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When Fred Petersson, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 6 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jonathan Ferrant was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Magnus Löfdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 7th minute of play. Sven-Erik Berglund hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 13 played minutes Electric Sharks got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Erik Berglund. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aan Aae in the 16th minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Aan Aae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Petersson in the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Petersson came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 played minutes Electric Sharks got a freekick which was hit by Aan Aae. Magnus Löfdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 34th minute of play. When Johnny Hansson fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Electric Sharks's protests and gave Johnny Hansson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Electric Sharks's Magnus Löfdahl didn't even have to move. Aan Aae recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Magnus Löfdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fred Petersson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A throw-in in the 55th minute of the game was made by Sven-Erik Berglund with Aan Aae as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Magnus Löfdahl skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Electric Sharks's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Tomas Illescas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Electric Sharks's Magnus Löfdahl did a great save. Salvador Gisbert in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Magnus Löfdahl, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Electric Sharks's Magnus Löfdahl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Electric Sharks from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute, Fred Petersson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Aan Aae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Magnus Löfdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 68th minute of the match. The supporters of Electric Sharks booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Electric Sharks made a substitution. Frank Gustafsson replaced Aan Aae. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Erik Berglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Magnus Löfdahl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fred Petersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Electric Sharks's Magnus Löfdahl got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Melander in the 94th minute of play.
