The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sócrates Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Beila Mora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Austra 04 VFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Beila Mora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Fabiano Porto. Austra 04 VFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beila Mora in the 11th minute. Wellington Pires in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Wellington Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 20 minutes into the game, Wellington Pires cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Sócrates Silva scored 2-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 25 minutes into the game, Austra 04 VFC's Wellington Pires nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. With his leg Lautaro Navarro managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Austra 04 VFC's Beila Mora fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Wellington Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Pires in the 31st minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, Austra 04 VFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráuzio Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, one of Austra 04 VFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Austra 04 VFC. Edmundo Espiga scored 3-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabiano Porto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beila Mora in the 36th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Sócrates Silva fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lautaro Navarro, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to Austra 04 VFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Douglas Tande hit a great ball. Sócrates Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Ocampo charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Ocampo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yaroslav Lyubar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, Beila Mora got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luca Espinar hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute Austra 04 VFC were awarded a corner. Yaroslav Lyubar went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Austra 04 VFC's corner Beila Mora fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lautaro Navarro quite easily take care of the ball. If Beila Mora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 77 minutes into the match, Austra 04 VFC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Fabiano Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Austra 04 VFC's Sócrates Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute Beila Mora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beila Mora in the 88th minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Beila Mora cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Austra 04 VFC had played much better football throughout.
