Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 25th minute, Antoni Dziatkowicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moerhuize fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Gandalf Bilbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Constantijn Meijers having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thorsten Klemm in the 31st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Moerhuize defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Constantijn Meijers. The Moerhuize fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Constantijn Meijers should have stopped the shot. If Antoni Dziatkowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdir Bigotte in the 42nd minute of the match. After 45 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Moerhuize players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The Moerhuize players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Venezuela were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Constantijn Meijers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The Moerhuize fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Moerhuize's Gandalf Bilbo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 57 minutes into the match, Moerhuize's goalkeeper Constantijn Meijers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Raúl Alavedra hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Gandalf Bilbo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 66 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Constantijn Meijers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Moerhuize's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Constantijn Meijers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. A hard shot 80 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Constantijn Meijers managed to make a qualified save. Moerhuize's players were relieved. Charl Minnen was slow to take the kick. During this time Moerhuize's players had a chance to rest. In the 95th match minute, Moerhuize was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Alavedra to maneuver through the defense. The Venezuela supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Venezuela would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
