Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Talento Futebol clube's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but José Maria Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlinhos Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Gualter Proença, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualter Proença in the 10th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Talento Futebol clube's Per-Arne Delin. But to his dismay, Per-Arne Delin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Abdulaziz Onsoy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdulaziz Onsoy in the 36th minute of the match. 1-1 became the score in the 38th minute when Tomas Illescas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 41st match minute, Talento Futebol clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Arne Delin to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fraco Zago made in the 46th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Mito Mesías. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdulaziz Onsoy was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulaziz Onsoy in the 53rd minute of play. Fraco Zago's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fraco Zago helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th match minute, Talento Futebol clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fraco Zago to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Talento Futebol clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mito Mesías didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 75th minute of play forced Talento Futebol clube's goalkeeper José Maria Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdulaziz Onsoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gualter Proença fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talento Futebol clube's protests and gave Gualter Proença a yellow card for diving instead. Gualter Proença hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Maria Souza having to make a save. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Venezuela players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
