Hilario Pesquera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Golden Dragón F.C's Modris Pavējš quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Diego Bradley, made in the 10th minute of the game. If Edward Mcdonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Ceyhan Celvet came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hilario Pesquera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 18th minute of play. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceyhan Celvet in the 21st minute of play. Hilario Pesquera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 30th minute of play forced Golden Dragón F.C's goalkeeper Hilario Pesquera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ceyhan Celvet might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ceyhan Celvet ran back to his position shaking his head. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceyhan Celvet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cassius Byrne was the one to do the kick off. Cassius Byrne succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 58th playminute. 62 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Ceyhan Celvet came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aureliusz Vaabengaard tried in the game's 84th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Hilario Pesquera. An annoying self made goal, 0-2. In the 88th minute Khalid Parry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Pesquera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute Dario Betzanos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA played a much better game than Golden Dragón F.C and deserved their victory. The Golden Dragón F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
