Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Heintje Passos kicked off to start the match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Camilo Gisbert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nahitantino's Everardo Javiero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nahitantino's goalie prevented a goal. In the 6th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Everardo Javiero. Nahitantino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Everardo Javiero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Nahitantino's Celso Isadore fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Everardo Javiero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After having played for 17 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Everardo Javiero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Marcelo Erramu kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Everardo Javiero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Everardo Javiero quite easily take care of the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomir Fudalej in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nahitantino's Everardo Javiero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Celso Isadore took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Nahitantino players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Nahitantino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Normando to maneuver through the defense. Everardo Javiero made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heintje Passos in the 60th minute of play. Nahitantino's Pastor Platon was substituted for Marcelino Normando. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute of the match Marcelo Erramu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Heintje Passos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nahitantino made a substitution. Generoso Rivero replaced Celso Isadore. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Salvator in the 84th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomir Fudalej in the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Salvator came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Esteban Salvator stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Esteban Salvator tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador played a much better game than Nahitantino and deserved their victory. The Nahitantino players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
