Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play forced Maravilla's goalkeeper Prospero Muc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiburcio Domiku during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Domiku didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prospero Muc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Maravilla getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Nicasio Quinton hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prospero Muc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Prospero Muc came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 26th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Muc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Prospero Muc. Maravilla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 32nd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prospero Muc was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Muc having to interfere. Prospero Muc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 40 played minutes Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Quinton. In the 42nd minute, Felix Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 46th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prospero Muc was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The wind increased when Simon Rameriz made the kick off in the second half. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Prospero Muc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Prospero Muc, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Maravilla's Prospero Muc got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th minute of the match, Cristian Sancho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Prospero Muc was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 59th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 62nd minute, Agustín Saelices reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Prospero Muc. The goal made the score 0-7. After a defensive mix-up in Maravilla's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Muc came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, Maravilla's goalkeeper Prospero Muc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Prospero Muc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maravilla's attentive Tiburcio Domiku managed to snatch the ball when Camilo Gisbert made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Muc having to interfere. Prospero Muc made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th match minute, Maravilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Damario to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Prospero Muc to make any attempt to save it. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Maravilla's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Muc came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Prospero Muc having to make a save. A collision led to Maravilla getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Nicasio Quinton hit a great ball. When Constantino Txordon fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maravilla's protests and gave Constantino Txordon a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Maravilla's Constantino Txordon got a free kick in the 94th minute. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maravilla's goalkeeper Prospero Muc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
