Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 14th minute. A nice corner shot did that Alonso Berganza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this John Osomo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. John Osomo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 20th minute of play forced PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's goalkeeper John Osomo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Örjan Björkdahl took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 58 minutes PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Moises Gayoso to score against John Osomo in PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's goal. 2-2 after 59 minutes. John Osomo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 63rd minute of the match. John Osomo made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Osomo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Osomo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Örjan Björkdahl came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's John Osomo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Örjan Björkdahl sped through Peru's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa.
