After a rather tough play, Austra 04 VFC's Nuno Severo got a free kick in the 7th minute. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Fabiano Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabiano Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Miralles in the 11th minute of play. Austra 04 VFC's Fabiano Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Cambeiro in the 37th minute of play. Téo de Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Alex Cambeiro made a precise shot to the right of Fabiano Porto. Austra 04 VFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Berganza made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Cambeiro got free with Fabiano Porto in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fabiano Porto, passed just outside the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabiano Porto. That made the score 0-4 after 66 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Austra 04 VFC defense, Isidoro Sarmiento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabiano Porto. The Austra 04 VFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabiano Porto should have stopped the shot. Fabiano Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 72nd minute of play. Fabiano Porto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isidoro Sarmiento showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 89 minute of play. Fabiano Porto was a little too slow when Isidoro Sarmiento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 0-8. When the final whistle sounded Panama left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Austra 04 VFC.
