Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chico Vidales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Luz Tejedor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chico Vidales might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chico Vidales ran back to his position shaking his head. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Vidales in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Nàstic de Tarragona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augustin Negreanu to maneuver through the defense.
