Daniel Zorita scored 0-4 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remzi İçten, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kléber Barbosa in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Rebentala FC's Jiang Yong was substituted for Hazım Cilasun. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Remzi İçten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kléber Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th match minute, Rebentala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dani Stone to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Felix Montenegro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Remzi İçten. The goal made the score 0-5. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
