Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. Bo Stam made in the 3rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Generoso Silvino immediately put the ball in play. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Júlio Gentil sent off a good shot on target. Vito de Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luz Tejedor went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 11 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vito de Godoi. Matos Velhos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Gentil in the 13th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vito de Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Vito de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 21st minute of the match. Rolando Noboa was a little too slow when Júlio Gentil got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-3. Bo Stam got a throw-in 28 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Generoso Silvino. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Matos Velhos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Luz Tejedor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vito de Godoi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vito de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Vito de Godoi. Matos Velhos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. In the 37thth minute of the game Henrique Candal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Júlio Gentil sent off a good shot on target. After 47 minutes of play, Peru's Milagros Fraga made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vito de Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vito de Godoi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Vito de Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiang Qing Lin in the 63rd minute of the match. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Vito de Godoi made a huge save. Matos Velhos's Karl Nietlisbach was substituted for Sabino Vilhena. Matos Velhos's Özdemir Saygur was substituted for Generoso Silvino. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Vito de Godoi in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bo Stam made in the 73rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Domingos Palmeira immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 74th minute of play forced Matos Velhos's goalkeeper Vito de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vito de Godoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute, Bo Stam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiang Qing Lin in the 82nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd match minute, Matos Velhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tord Böcklund to maneuver through the defense. Vito de Godoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. 90 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Gentil came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 minutes of play, Peru's Antonio Tenorio made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vito de Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! 95 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vito de Godoi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Nietlisbach in the 96th minute of the match. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
