In the 4th match minute, Gyál United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstantinos Kroustallis to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horaţiu Petran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Walmir Breckenfeld in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantinos Kroustallis in the 13th minute of play. Horaţiu Petran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Zoltán Varga could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Joaquin Gayoso however easily saved by the left post. In the 20th minute, Konstantinos Kroustallis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute, Uruguay's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zoltán Varga fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Joaquin Gayoso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Walmir Breckenfeld showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoltán Varga in the 56th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Gyál United fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Gyál United's Walmir Breckenfeld looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 91 minutes into the match, Zoltán Varga notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gyál United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
