After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Agustín Saelices put it in 0-17 from a short distance just to the right of 武振超. 『挑战者』兄弟·努力's 武振超 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 92nd minute of play. 武振超 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-18 was the resulting score.
