Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Cylon's zone, Abraham Alguacil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 林城谦 came out of the goal and Abraham Alguacil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 沈然弘 hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 林城谦 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, 沈迪志 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 姚广邦 during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 姚广邦 kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. A collision led to Cylon getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. 马远银 hit a great ball. Cylon's 庞桦景 was substituted for 庄志政. 37 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 沈迪志. After 41 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Miralles. The supporters of Cylon booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Cambeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 宋傲远 shot from long distance in the 45th minute, but Marcos Cotilla was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by 沈迪志 in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Miguel Miralles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 林城谦 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56thth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cylon's 林城谦 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, 沈迪志 notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cylon made a substitution. 潘悦希 replaced 庞桦景. Cylon's 龙钢超 was substituted for 汪飞文. 马远银 kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Cylon's 林城谦 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 68th minute of play. After 70 minutes of play, Cylon's 沈迪志 made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! 马远银 hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 林城谦 having to interfere. 林城谦 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 77th minute. Cylon's 林城谦 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 79th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Alex Cambeiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this 林城谦 quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Cylon booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Garrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 沈迪志, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, 林城谦 successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panama's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Cylon had won, even though Panama had held more of the ball.
