Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kaká Ferreira kicked off to start the match. If Alan Moruga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Ferreira in the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Ferreira in the 4th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Moruga charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efrain Moruga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Atlético de Crisal's Kaká Ferreira got a free kick in the 8th minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the match Romarinho Silva climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Benito Sanz. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseo Noboa during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aaron Alcocer's late challenge caught a Atlético de Crisal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Alcocer helped the player get up and apologised. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Romarinho Silva came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes of play, Atlético de Crisal's Romarinho Silva made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Atlético de Crisal's Kaká Ferreira got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute of the match, Kaká Ferreira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benito Sanz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 39th minute Lautaro Puig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Romarinho Silva sent off a good shot on target. Axel Tasis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant threw the ball into play from the sideline. Atlético de Crisal's Alessandro Goiano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Luís Vergílio hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Cido Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Atlético de Crisal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Goiano to maneuver through the defense. After 55 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romarinho Silva in the 56th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaká Ferreira in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. 62 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Ferreira came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Lautaro Puig dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cido Valle, 2-1. 68 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Ferreira came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlético de Crisal's Adelino Miranda was substituted for Kaká Ferreira. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Miranda in the 83rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Tasis in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cido Valle saved Atlético de Crisal from getting behind. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romarinho Silva's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Miranda came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Miranda in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Atlético de Crisal were the better team. Atlético de Crisal's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
