Expresso Ranelagh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Svetoslav Vardarov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Svetoslav Vardarov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Expresso Ranelagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Svetoslav Vardarov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 30thth minute of the game Svetoslav Vardarov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Svetoslav Vardarov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svetoslav Vardarov in the 40th minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Svetoslav Vardarov's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Cesare Raimondi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 邓昆烽 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Joaquin Gayoso didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Expresso Ranelagh's 邓昆烽 shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute.
