Pedro Manzanares was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Todd Gronow capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Todd Gronow really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 12th minute, Todd Gronow made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 15 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abelardo Janpier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. The corner led to Colombia's Luis Cazalla getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Abelardo Janpier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 19th minute of the match. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Montenegro in the 20th minute. The corner led Colombia's Axel Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which Abelardo Janpier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hipolito Nafarroa hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abelardo Janpier having to make a save. Abelardo Janpier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Axel Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Abelardo Janpier. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. A collision led to Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ziemowit Chowaniec hit a great ball. Abelardo Janpier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 27th minute of the match. Abelardo Janpier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Janpier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Justin hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 41st minute of play forced Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Mao Yan Yong got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Todd Gronow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Todd Gronow in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Todd Gronow made the kick off in the second half. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abelardo Janpier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 55th minute of play forced Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Todd Gronow went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Abelardo Janpier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 59th minute of play. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Abelardo Janpier made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 65th minute of play forced Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Todd Gronow nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC made a substitution. Andreas Harlén replaced Ildefonso Foro. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Abelardo Janpier made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Abram Secada sent off a good shot on target. Abram Secada struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Abelardo Janpier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. 87 minutes into the game, Abram Secada recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abelardo Janpier. Abram Secada showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. The supporters of Colombia booed when Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mao Yan Yong didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Secada got free with Abelardo Janpier in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Harlén, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. A nice corner shot did that Andreas Harlén got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
