Rapa Nui's Bairon Villalba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erlantz Astudillo in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Erlantz Astudillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Bairon Villalba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Rapa Nui getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Samuel Lizondo hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Erlantz Astudillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bairon Villalba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, FriBeRtz Football Club's Rodger Dufour nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bairon Villalba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Bairon Villalba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodger Dufour, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erlantz Astudillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FriBeRtz Football Club booed when Rapa Nui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iván Hermosilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Hassan Barrow kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bairon Villalba. That made the score 0-15 in the 98 minute of play.

FriBeRtz Football Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
