Spectators: 472 (Terracing: 355, Seating: 108, VIP seats: 9) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Xaven Abascal kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xaven Abascal in the 4th minute of play forced Chaponnay FC's goalkeeper Moïse Girerd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tanguy Caudrelier kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. With a little luck, Always Ready's Adelmo Pemjean got control of the ball when Kevan Brossier tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chaponnay FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Filomeno Abellaneda was slow to take the kick. During this time Always Ready's players had a chance to rest. 20 minutes into the match, Always Ready's goalkeeper Adelmo Pemjean had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evan Le Moullec. 22 minutes into the match, Chaponnay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xaven Abascal came free, but Moïse Girerd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moïse Girerd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xaven Abascal in the 25th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Chaponnay FC got a freekick which was hit by Stéphane Eynard. In the 30th minute Frechoso Abellaneda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moïse Girerd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Kevan Brossier kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adelmo Pemjean. That made the score 1-1 in the 36 minute of play. Adelmo Pemjean was a little too slow when Charly Boisson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With a little luck, Chaponnay FC's Moïse Girerd got control of the ball when Frechoso Abellaneda tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Always Ready's goal looked a bit too open when Evan Le Moullec came free, but Adelmo Pemjean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Renaud Houzet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute Filomeno Abellaneda managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Renaud Houzet kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Sylvain Deman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moïse Girerd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Abellaneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 66 played minutes Always Ready got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Abar. After some careless play in the Always Ready defense, Evan Le Moullec kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adelmo Pemjean. The Always Ready fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adelmo Pemjean should have stopped the shot. Frechoso Abellaneda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frechoso Abellaneda hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Evan Le Moullec left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chaponnay FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After some careless play in the Always Ready defense, Renaud Houzet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adelmo Pemjean. The Always Ready fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adelmo Pemjean should have stopped the shot. If Noureddine Ridard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Chaponnay FC's zone, Todor Abaunza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moïse Girerd came out of the goal and Todor Abaunza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Always Ready players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chaponnay FC.
