The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mátyás Vörös during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 8 minutes into the game, Soma Iványi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ferit Taykut was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, István Majer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferencvarosi TC's supporters rose to their feet, but István Majer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferit Taykut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mustafa İzzet Dadaloğlu during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th minute, one of Taşpınar Sk:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Taşpınar Sk. If Soma Iványi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bülent Bardakçı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Barnabás Karsai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute Soma Iványi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferit Taykut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Soma Iványi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ferit Taykut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Soma Iványi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ferit Taykut was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6.

In the 51stth minute of the game Soma Iványi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taşpınar Sk's Ferit Taykut was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Soma Iványi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferit Taykut having to interfere. Yusuf Oykan's late challenge caught a Ferencvarosi TC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yusuf Oykan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Taşpınar Sk's Bekir Çetin got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute, Tamás Boros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Ferencvarosi TC's goal looked a bit too open when Balamir Koçarslan came free, but Barnabás Karsai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Ferencvarosi TC's goal looked a bit too open when Pars Sarıkaya came free, but Barnabás Karsai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferit Taykut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Soma Iványi, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pars Sarıkaya in the 75th minute of play forced Ferencvarosi TC's goalkeeper Barnabás Karsai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A well placed Soma Iványi short distance shot in the 78th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Ferit Taykut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Soma Iványi in the 81st minute of play. Taşpınar Sk's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when István Majer scored to the left of an out of position Ferit Taykut, making the score, 0-8. In the 87thth minute of the game Norbert Bencsik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taşpınar Sk's Ferit Taykut was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Soma Iványi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bülent Bardakçı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barnabás Karsai having to interfere.

When the match was over Ferencvarosi TC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Taşpınar Sk throughout the match.
