Real Madrid de Guatemala's Nicolás Guerrero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eusebio Taurino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Carmelo Sifon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Eusebio Taurino made a huge save. When Real Madrid de Guatemala's Carmelo Sifon in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carmelo Sifon got free with Eusebio Taurino in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the match, Nogolí's goalkeeper Eusebio Taurino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carmelo Sifon. A hard shot 43 in the game by Carmelo Sifon from a close distance when the talented Eusebio Taurino managed to make a qualified save. Nogolí's players were relieved. After some careless play in the Nogolí defense, Carmelo Sifon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eusebio Taurino. The Nogolí fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eusebio Taurino should have stopped the shot. After 83 played minutes Nogolí got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Oton.
