The supporters of Valar Morghulis booed when Meridiano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Benat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dionisio Maiorga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephen Abechuco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute of the game Joel Arce made a throw-in which Pastor Marz played forward. Mateus Abendano charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stephen Abechuco in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dionisio Maiorga saved Meridiano AFC from getting behind. In the 46th minute, Frantxizko Abancens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dionisio Maiorga was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. After the first half Valar Morghulis were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ladislao Peru made the kick off in the second half. Though ot was a great shot Meridiano AFC's keeper Dionisio Maiorga was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Brion Abancens lost his temper 56 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Meridiano AFC a penalty, 58 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Miguel Toro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Valar Morghulis's Ramon Agurto. 2-4. After a rather tough play, Meridiano AFC's Hector Orland got a free kick in the 61st minute. When Zernin Abello came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Valar Morghulis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zernin Abello couldn't finish the play. Frantxizko Abancens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Dionisio Maiorga made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celso Romo during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
