With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bill Fitter in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomasz Grajewski saved Pierdziszewo Górne FC from getting behind. David Galloway lost his temper 28 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Pierdziszewo Górne FC's Boruc Japola got a free kick in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the match, Pierdziszewo Górne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bill Fitter came free, but Tomasz Grajewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pocklington FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Warren Savage in the 35th minute. The referee ignored Pocklington FC's protests and gave Rowan Avery a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Rowan Avery hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pocklington FC's goalkeeper Barry Dawson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 41 played minutes Pocklington FC got a freekick which was hit by Bill Fitter. Tomasz Grajewski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rupert McDermot went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Wladyslaw Brudnicki hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When Pocklington FC's Bill Fitter in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pierdziszewo Górne FC's goalie prevented a goal. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tolek Labus made a kick off. When Daryl Bannister fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pocklington FC's protests and gave Daryl Bannister a yellow card for diving instead. Wladyslaw Brudnicki hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Barry Dawson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolek Labus in the 59th minute of play. Bill Fitter in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tomasz Grajewski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tolek Labus couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute Rupert McDermot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomasz Grajewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barry Dawson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wladyslaw Brudnicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barry Dawson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugon Falkiewicz in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Pocklington FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tolek Labus came free, but Barry Dawson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Rupert McDermot took a quick shot and it went in 4-3 without a chance for Tomasz Grajewski to make any attempt to save it.

After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Bill Fitter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pocklington FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bill Fitter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomasz Grajewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daryl Bannister hit a great freekick 100 minutes into the match. A collision led to Pocklington FC getting a freekick after 104 minutes play. Wes Swain hit a great ball. Barry Dawson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wincent Basinski in the 105th minute of play. In the 107th minute of the match Rowan Avery shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomasz Grajewski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Trevor Stevens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 109th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Pierdziszewo Górne FC getting a freekick after 110 minutes play. Boruc Japola hit a great ball. The supporters of Pierdziszewo Górne FC booed when Pocklington FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 113 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wes Swain didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half of extra-time was a real thriller. Both teams had created chances, but they were still tied when the whistle blew. The players were able to take a short breather during the short break.

The players still looked rather fresh even though it was time for second half of the overtime. Tolek Labus did a quick kick off. 120 minutes into the match, Pocklington FC's goal looked a bit too open when Boguslaw Kempka came free, but Barry Dawson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomasz Grajewski made a fantastic save in the 124th minute, when Bill Fitter sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 127 in the game by Daryl Bannister from a close distance when the talented Tomasz Grajewski managed to make a qualified save. Pierdziszewo Górne FC's players were relieved. Barry Dawson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boguslaw Kempka in the 133rd minute of the match. The game was still level after extra-time. The match had to be settled by penalties!

In the 136th minute there was a penalty for Pierdziszewo Górne FC. Tomasz Grajewski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Barry Dawson. 5-5. In the 141st minute there was a penalty for Pocklington FC. Wes Swain stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tomasz Grajewski. 6-6.
