Amílton Sá stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavio Asier's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. A collision led to Motor Alma y Sangre getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Dario Elia hit a great ball. Ramón Leme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 45 minutes of play, Taquaral Campineiro's Donato Guerra made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eustaquio Casado was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geraldo de Godoi was the one to do the kick off. Eustaquio Casado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geraldo de Godoi's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Prospero Santos hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Motor Alma y Sangre reached it. Motor Alma y Sangre's Erubiel Figueroa suffered a sore knee after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 95 minutes, Ramón Leme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taquaral Campineiro and the Motor Alma y Sangre players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th minute, Ramón Leme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
