Remo Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 12th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Róbert Štriker lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Jonathan Ferrant. In the 20th minute, VfL Bad Nenndorf's Themis Papadimoulis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Themis Papadimoulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Themis Papadimoulis made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. When Tomas Illescas fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Tomas Illescas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. Themis Papadimoulis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Themis Papadimoulis's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Themis Papadimoulis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Themis Papadimoulis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Róbert Štriker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, VfL Bad Nenndorf's Themis Papadimoulis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-0. Tomas Illescas got his second yellow card in the match during the 45th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 46th minute. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Themis Papadimoulis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 8-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patricio Costa made a kick off. Themis Papadimoulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 55th minute of the match Baptist Haas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. If Zsolt Székely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbert Štriker in the 63rd minute of play. The attack was good, but when Róbert Štriker in the 63rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Themis Papadimoulis in the 67th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Themis Papadimoulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the game, VfL Bad Nenndorf's Themis Papadimoulis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Róbert Štriker in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Róbert Štriker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbert Štriker in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute Themis Papadimoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Themis Papadimoulis in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. The supporters of Venezuela booed when VfL Bad Nenndorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Lekberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Róbert Štriker notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, VfL Bad Nenndorf's Jonatan Lekberg got a free kick in the 89th minute. Themis Papadimoulis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbert Štriker in the 93rd minute of play. If Róbert Štriker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Themis Papadimoulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. VfL Bad Nenndorf's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
