Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Argen-Taino's Jesús Caminero did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Gaona in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesús Caminero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jesús Caminero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 22 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Argen-Taino's Jesús Caminero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 35 minutes Argen-Taino's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick.
