Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to A. Korn getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ramon Diaz hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Alvaro Urtsin kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play. A. Korn's Ubaldo Matildo Fillol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 20th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Agustín Saelices ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 27th match minute, A. Korn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Ovando to maneuver through the defense. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, A. Korn's Ramon Diaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Daniel Zorita fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 50th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Diaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Zbigniew Fedosz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of A. Korn:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. After 59 minutes A. Korn's goalkeeper Ubaldo Matildo Fillol managed, with a little bit of luck, save Daniel Zorita's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Daniel Zorita scored 0-4 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ubaldo Matildo Fillol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A. Korn's Ubaldo Matildo Fillol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save A. Korn from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, A. Korn's Prudencio Ovando got a free kick in the 71st minute. 79 minutes into the match, A. Korn's goalkeeper Ubaldo Matildo Fillol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbigniew Fedosz in the 84th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ubaldo Matildo Fillol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 86th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Matildo Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Ramon Diaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
