In the 27th match minute, Bize Heryer Trabzon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobald Betonowy to maneuver through the defense. Cem İlbilge charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cem İlbilge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nejat Taykurt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Nejat Taykurt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Bize Heryer Trabzon's Bilge Baykal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bize Heryer Trabzon's attentive Demircan Metiner managed to snatch the ball when Primitivo Andino made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. After having played for 69 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Bilge Baykal came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Felix Montenegro took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Nejat Taykurt to make any attempt to save it. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Nejat Taykurt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nejat Taykurt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Bize Heryer Trabzon defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nejat Taykurt. The Bize Heryer Trabzon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nejat Taykurt should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute, Bize Heryer Trabzon's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 88th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Nejat Taykurt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bize Heryer Trabzon.
