A throw-in in the 12th minute of the game was made by John Metgod with Mehmet Halis Hamurcuoğlu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Sowliny ☆☆☆ A.D.2007's Osa Ossa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 16th minute of play. After 16 minutes, Julian Murillo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sowliny ☆☆☆ A.D.2007's Osa Ossa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Sowliny ☆☆☆ A.D.2007's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Osa Ossa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Viliam Vrábel sent off a good shot on target. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Llope in the 26th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Sowliny ☆☆☆ A.D.2007's Dante Llope ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 31 minutes into the match, Sowliny ☆☆☆ A.D.2007's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Osa Ossa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milagros Fraga in the 35th minute of play forced Sowliny ☆☆☆ A.D.2007's goalkeeper Osa Ossa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Sowliny ☆☆☆ A.D.2007's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. After 40 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Luz Tejedor. In the 43rd minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osa Ossa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Prats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osa Ossa having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viliam Vrábel to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Peru's Osa Ossa threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 52nd minute of play forced Sowliny ☆☆☆ A.D.2007's goalkeeper Osa Ossa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57thth minute Salvatore Del Gatto easily got through Peru's defense and fired away a shot, but Rolando Noboa leaped left and performed a fabulous save. Sowliny ☆☆☆ A.D.2007 were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Salvatore Del Gatto took the corner. 60 minutes in the game, Moises Gayoso fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Osa Ossa having to interfere. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viliam Vrábel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osa Ossa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Peru's Julian Murillo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Osa Ossa. That made the score 2-2 after 69 minutes of play. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osa Ossa having to interfere. Anthony Alvarado's late challenge caught a Sowliny ☆☆☆ A.D.2007's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anthony Alvarado helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sowliny ☆☆☆ A.D.2007 booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Alvarado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Salvatore Del Gatto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Peru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sowliny ☆☆☆ A.D.2007 throughout the match.
