Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Azzurri FC's Jules Barrett started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Kendrick Schumacher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute, Carlos Tello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Azzurri FC's goalkeeper Hando Festini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hando Festini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hando Festini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 33rd match minute, Azzurri FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon DuLin to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hando Festini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Azzurri FC's Hando Festini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Luis Andino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hando Festini was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jules Barrett in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. When Kendrick Schumacher came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Azzurri FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kendrick Schumacher couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Hando Festini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hando Festini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Azzurri FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led to Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 62nd minute of the match, Cristian Sancho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hando Festini was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cristian Sancho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hando Festini firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Azzurri FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hando Festini quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Carlos Tello charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Tello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd match minute, Azzurri FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Tello to maneuver through the defense. Luis Andino was extremely unlucky when he, in the 77th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 80th minute Jules Barrett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute Azzurri FC were awarded a corner. Malcom Payton went to the cornerflag to take it. Azzurri FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Agustín Saelices 86 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Azzurri FC's Kendrick Schumacher suffered a concussion in the 90th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The supporters of Azzurri FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
