Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. After 6 minutes of play, Brooklyn SC's Gerardo Beard made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Gerardo Beard put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. In the 31st minute of the game Felix Montes made a throw-in which Felix Montenegro played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 32nd minute of play forced Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Jospeh McNally to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Felix Augustin notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 37 played minutes Brooklyn SC got a freekick which was hit by Stacy McDonough. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jospeh McNally saved Brooklyn SC from getting behind. Jospeh McNally took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerardo Beard made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Jospeh McNally had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Brooklyn SC's Gerardo Beard got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jospeh McNally narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Primitivo Andino in the 65th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Brooklyn SC's Elliot Whitley. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Gerardo Beard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Gerardo Beard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th match minute, Brooklyn SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trenton Long to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Brooklyn SC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jospeh McNally came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Brooklyn SC's Jospeh McNally got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Brooklyn SC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Elliot Whitley hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Jospeh McNally skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Brooklyn SC made a substitution. Walter Spivey replaced Gerardo Beard. After 78 minutes Brooklyn SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Trenton Long fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Brooklyn SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elliot Whitley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jospeh McNally tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Brooklyn SC had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
