Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Severino Casero started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 3rd minute of play forced Vorwärts Lübeck's goalkeeper Abubakar Noach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Peru booed when Vorwärts Lübeck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihail Ciuvică didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vorwärts Lübeck's Abubakar Noach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 13th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Ortzi in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Vorwärts Lübeck's goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Abubakar Noach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Anders Myrvang made in the 26th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Brix Wenauer. Abubakar Noach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 29th minute of play. Marek Tomporowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Abubakar Noach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. The throw-in from Milagros Fraga in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vorwärts Lübeck's Mihail Ciuvică. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Ortzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Ortzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abubakar Noach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 57th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Peru's Luz Tejedor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abubakar Noach made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Tomporowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Vorwärts Lübeck's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Abubakar Noach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abubakar Noach didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luz Tejedor went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Vorwärts Lübeck made a substitution. Eberhard Kobe replaced Severino Casero. Jean-Baptiste Lasogga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 74th minute Jean-Baptiste Lasogga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eberhard Kobe kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. In the 84th minute, Eberhard Kobe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
