Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Curt McLain got the match started through his kick off. Alan Campos hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Curt McLain kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. Sherwood Walsh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Curt McLain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oren Walsh might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oren Walsh ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Juan Diego Tenorio got a free kick in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Accokeek AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Sherwood Walsh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Pardo, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Hector Covarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the game, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sherwood Walsh made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 44th match minute, Accokeek AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfred Grossman to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Jaime Pardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sherwood Walsh was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Pardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Accokeek AFC's Wilfred Grossman got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute, Curt McLain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roscoe Hargrove in the 56th minute of play. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roscoe Hargrove in the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute of the match, Jaime Pardo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sherwood Walsh saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oren Walsh, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Accokeek AFC's Oren Walsh got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Accokeek AFC's Roscoe Hargrove got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dwight Boone hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Wilfred Grossman hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute Roscoe Hargrove shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Curt McLain came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Accokeek AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Curt McLain couldn't finish the play. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oren Walsh in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Roscoe Hargrove came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paraguay were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Accokeek AFC to leave the ground with a draw.
